Facility Services & Risk Management
Facility Services & Risk Management provide maintenance, custodial, landscaping, building systems repairs, and motor pool management. The department also oversees safety protocols, emergency preparedness, and crisis initiatives.
Motor Pool
十大赌博平台排行 maintains a fleet of nine vehicles for use by approved university drivers, including faculty, staff, and student workers. Only Approved drivers may use university vehicles to carry out departmental duties daily. Before requesting a reservation of a university vehicle, please read theMotor Pool Policy.
Defensive Drive Training
The State of Louisiana's Office of Risk Management requires completion of defensive driver training every three years for employees who drive on State business. Employees can apply to become an authorized driver by completing the Online Defensive Driving Course and submitting a Driver Safety Form (DA2054) to Facility Services & Risk Management.
Travel
Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to prepare for all travel by reviewing the checklists and advisories provided by the U.S. Department of State.
Active Shooter Response Training
This educational video, developed with expertise from a national emergency preparedness center, provides guidance on how to respond effectively during an active threat situation using the 'Run, Hide, Fight' strategy.
Recent events around the nation have raised the public’s awareness of active shooter situations, and the unfortunate reality that similar events can occur anywhere and at any time.
