• Researchers may request materials for viewing. Please see "Central Louisiana List of Collections" to plan your requests.

• Items that can be taken into the Reading Room include pencils, notepaper or notebooks, laptops, tablets/pads, cameras, chargers, and cell phones. Food, drinks, pens, and other personal items like bags, briefcases, purses, laptop or camera cases, outerwear, and umbrellas should be left in a secure place.

• Unprocessed collections materials may be used only with permission from the archivist, who can assist with this process.

• Patrons may photograph archival and manuscript materials (without flash) after completing a Camera User Policy Form, obtained from archivist.

• Duplication and digitization services are available for a fee. Duplication and digitization is for personal or research use only.

All documents containing sensitive information, such as social security numbers, will be redacted to make such information unreadable. In cases where documents containing sensitive information will be discarded or rehoused with another institution, those records will be shredded, or sensitive information will be redacted.
